Hello! I am Fynn Ammann, the mind behind AI SMARTASS. When you look for answers on the internet today, you encounter artificial intelligence at every corner. But let's be honest: How often have you asked an AI something and received an answer that sounded extremely smart, but turned out to be completely made up in the end?
That is exactly where I stood a while ago. I wanted reliable facts, but instead, I was served beautifully formulated hallucinations. Language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others are brilliant – but they are also the ultimate smartasses. They know everything, and when they don't know something, they just make it up with a confident smile.
"I was tired of being lied to by algorithms. So I decided to build a platform that exposes this phenomenon, dissects it, and makes it understandable for everyone – without the tech babble."
Out of this frustration, the idea for this site was born. AI SMARTASS is not a dry science magazine. My goal is to shed light on the darkness of AI errors, in exactly the way YOU need it right now. Why should complex computer science only be explained in professor-level academic German or English?

AI errors don't stop at national borders. An algorithm hallucinates in English just as much as it does in German, Japanese, or Arabic. Since misinformation is a global problem, I thought to myself: Then the education about it has to be global too. AI SMARTASS connects people worldwide to better understand and tame the technology of tomorrow.
